We’ve been avid board game players for several years now but have kept the collection quite slim and small. We suffer from FOMO like everyone but I like to research before buying a new game. I recently added Mage Knight to the collection but the box is huge and quite intimidating. The current obsession is Ark Nova. And OMG, I’ve only just played Root and loved it. And I’m also in the process of picking up some old classics including: Kemet, Cyclades, Castles of Burgundy and Caylus.
We’ve started up a small local group of gamers who currently meet once a month but we are hoping to increase this to fortnightly.
I bought a 3D printer recently after 5 years of dithering about it and it’s been great. It does take up a lot of time which I don’t have. I’m self employed, a volunteer member of our local Mountain Rescue Team and add on the usual stuff that life throws at you and, yup, I’m busy!
With our Etsy shop we aim to produce good quality 3D upgrades that we would be happy to own. I won’t sell anything unless I’m 100% happy with it. Got to have pride in what you produce or there’s no point.
